ABOUT THE FARM
Our research farm located in national capital region is a 70 acres campus with a diverse farming operation. Throughout the year, a variety of crops are planted for both research and commercial purposes. Amongst this diverse portfolio of crops, sugarcane and potato are staple - entailing extensive research with different seed varieties with industry partners.
In addition, various horticulture crops are also cultivated seasonally in smaller plots. Likewise, new paddy varieties, wheat and fodder crops serve as gap fillers between sugarcane and potato to maintain a healthy crop rotation throughout the year.
With this diverse crop portfolio, a cohort of machines and regular labor becomes a "NEED".
Understanding this need, the farm is well equipped with engineering shops with all the basic fabrication & repairs capabilities. It has multiple research fields of different plot sizes that are utilized to cultivate these crops all year round. This diversity allows us to maintain a continuous momentum of iterating our capabilities to develop and test various forms of smart mechanization, specific to a crop with different sowing/plantation patterns.

WHAT WE DO HERE
Over time, labor has become scare and with increased other overheads, small and mid scale farming have been taking on the headwinds. With our work, the attempt is to do our part in converting these headwinds to tailwinds that can propel these small & mid scale farming operations, which constitute 80% of the total farming of the country to serve as the backbone of the economy.
With our vision and the underlying approach, we plan to swiftly expand our capabilities beyond one single crop to many others; develop solutions for different operations within a crop's complete cycle - Sowing to Harvesting, to reduce overheads and save time; test and refine solutions at a faster pace; and conduct field demonstrations as we commercialize products through our early adopters.
